Here&#8217;s a re-cap:<\/p>\n<h2>The &#8216;OMG&#8217; News<\/h2>\n<p>Yep it&#8217;s official, we are the event partner of Barclays&#8217; a dedicated centre for legal technology entrepreneurs: the Eagle Lab in Notting Hill. The lab aims\u00a0to help legal companies start-up and scale and will provide co-working space for up to 100 individuals.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Jimmy commented:\u00a0\u2018The LawTech space has huge potential for growth, and with initiatives like this, I wholeheartedly believe that the same success we have seen in the UK\u2019s thriving FinTech scene can be replicated.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><strong>The &#8216;Pack Your Bags&#8217; News<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We&#8217;re soon jetting off on our (LawTech) summer holidays\u00a0to meet the coolest legal startups and share their stories. Last year it was Europe, this year: the world. Our Around the World Tour is stopping off in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalgeek.co\/event\/legal-geek-moscow-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moscow<\/a> [14th May] &gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalgeek.co\/event\/singapore-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Singapore<\/a> [17th May] &gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalgeek.co\/event\/legal-geek-australia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sydney<\/a> [31st May] &gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalgeek.co\/event\/legal-geek-melbourne\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Melbourne<\/a> [4th June] &gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalgeek.co\/event\/legal-geek-san-francisco-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">San Francisco<\/a> [7th June] &gt; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalgeek.co\/event\/legal-geek-london-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">London<\/a> [19th June].<\/p>\n<p>We loved our 2017 tour to Europe and start-ups based on the continent can still get involved with us this summer by entering a pitching competition to win a travel grant (and an exhibitor stand slot) to attend the 2018 Legal Geek Conference in London. All you need do to enter is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalgeek.co\/watch\/lgroadtrip-pitching-competition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">submit a 90-second video<\/a> telling us about your start-up and why you should receive a grant.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The &#8216;Get Outta Here!&#8217; News<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We are chuffed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalgeek.co\/read\/conference-awards-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to have been selected as a finalist<\/a> in the Best Conference by a Small Company category at this year&#8217;s Conference Awards.
