For the first time on our trip, the weather was a bit dodgy, but this was more than made up for by the setup for the 200-person event at von Griefsfeld: a cool warehouse venue in North East Berlin topped with outstanding catering, which Marc made the most of as Jimmy made final touches in his preparation to host a record-breaking 15-person panel in the afternoon.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As talks went through the day, we were kept company in the courtyard by the hosts, guests and speakers, including familiar faces like<strong> Julien Lasala<\/strong>, <strong>Marie Bernard<\/strong> and <strong>Fabian Hollwitz.<\/strong> With 9 interviews scheduled either side of the panel, it was always going to be a full on day, and it only got busier as Betty&#8217;s pulling power combined with quality attendees meant we ended the day with fifteen on her back seats to be interviewed by Jimmy.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As for Jimmy&#8217;s record-breaking panel session, with the help of research from ELTA&#8217;s Tobias Heining and Julia Bruenjes, it emerged as a source of international wisdom. Jimmy opened by asking the guests to stand and position themselves on the stage according to how ready the tech-readiness of their international market, which set the tone for a dynamic discussion on the states, drivers, differentiators and regulatory frameworks of the law tech markets across Europe.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To sum up all the insights from another inspiring day would be difficult, but the range of perspectives &#8211;\u00a0including Karl Chapman&#8217;s revelations on the extortionate profit margins and increased awareness of technology&#8217;s potential in the legal industry &#8211;\u00a0highlighted the need and opportunity for such international meetings of minds.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We&#8217;ll have the video interviews soon, and in the meantime, it&#8217;s onwards to Brussels for <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1269245867\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Wednesday&#8217;s<\/span><\/span> event with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalgeek.co\/event\/road-trip-brussels\/\">Belgium Legal Tech<\/a>.
